VILLA VITA
This Bakoven house is a celebration of both the mountains and ocean with strong visual links to both. Set on a busy road, it was a challenge to maintain privacy while capitalizing on the extraordinary views. Darkened glass balustrades solved both these issues while becoming an architectural element that reflects the mountains in the building’s facade. The spaces are compact and functional, the perfect lock-up-and-go for our foreign clients. The interior set out to be a mix of warm neutrals and a restrained colour palette, creating a cozy, livable space during all of Cape Town’s seasons.
